We are planning some internal alterations to the layout of our home and have an Architect visiting next week. We have spoken on the telephone but this will be our first face to face meeting. We have some very clear ideas for most of the work we are planning but the property is unusual and we are also looking for ideas for a large window or doors to one external wall to maximise the views. We need the changes to be sympathetic to our property, neighbouring properties and the surrounding area.
What should I do to get the best out of our meeting? I have some photographs and sketches with ideas on that I can show the Architect, should I also be writing a list with bullet points of likes/dislikes or should I let the conversation be guided by the Architect at this stage. Any advice much appreciated.
