Extractor Hob

We’re planning a new kitchen and are considering the induction hobs with built in extractor units.

Has anyone got one and would you recommend it or are they just an eye wateringly expensive gimmick?

The way they were talked about to me,when I asked the same question was this.

They are great for people who's situations prevent a normal good or ceiling extractor to be used, ie vaulted ceiling properties.

So unless you are made of money, don't bother with one like this unless you need to.

@itsUnderMyPillow the ideal wall for the hob is internal with 3m ceilings so to vent to outside would be ugly with a traditional hood. We’ve been told the inbuilt extractor can be vented under the units to the outside wall. So not essential but aesthetically the best choice.

@LovingLola from what I’ve found, Bora is the make to get for these.

Sounds like that's you answer then, unless you have room behind or next to the hob for a Downdraft extractor ?
