Herringbone carpet

Hi Ladies

I am trying to find a good herringbone grey carpet for our landing area. Seems impossible! Have found one by naked flooring but it's not particularly soft under foot. Any ideas? Thanks

Apart from sisal/Berber type where the herringbone is just due to the weave, I’ve not found any apart from the naked ones (I’m not the op)

@Fiona1979 herringbone carpet sounds most odd, what makes you want one & where have you seen one?
it would have to be very short/looped to keep the herringbone & therefor not sift (as the op was looking for). Why not just get nice carpet or herringbone hard floor? Mixing the two seems very odd to me?!

Thanks for the responses. I’m looking for something like this. I have an oak wooden floor in the downstairs hall (not herringbone) . I’m hoping to get the herringbone on the stairs and upper landing

Google herringbone runners. They are not difficult to find but finding the carpet for The landing will be more difficult

This was posted in 2020 🤣 No we never found one. But I don't think it's odd at all. In fact it would have looked amazing if we could have found one. It's called style!

Just googled and even carpetright sell them now.

The lighting is a bit crap but I have a herringbone carpet made into a runner although it also has a stripe running through it.
