Anyone bought their house back?

Has anyone or anyone know of anyone who has bought back a house they had previously lived in then sold? Just curious really..... I wish we could buy back the house we had to sell two years ago 😞

I knew someone who did this - her first husband died when they were living there and she then moved out and bought another house elsewhere. The a few years later she got remarried and bought the old house back with her long-suffering new partner. Needless to say, the second marriage didn't last!

Yes I can see why that wouldn’t work....

A relative of DH did this after a 28 year gap. All the carpets, curtains etc they'd left were still there. They're very happy they moved back (although they've redecorated!)
