Flat Roof advice

Toomanycats99 · 02/02/2020 18:48

I need to replace the flat roof on my single story kitchen extension.

I am thinking about going the fibreglass route as I understand it lasts longer.

Any experience / recommendations?

You can use ESPM as well. Lasts for many many years and looks good.

That should read EDPM

Make sure if has a slight fall on it so the rain runs off into guttering.

Far better option than rubber roofs and tougher . just needs a good fall view completely flat and a good plywood backing boards

No no no. GRP is notorious in the industry for being fraught with problems.

There are lots of other options such as epdm, liquid, felt/hot melt that are better. But the main thing is to get an insurance backed warranty with it. Use the nfrc website to find a contractor.
