Composite front door prices

I'm looking for a new composite front door and have rang a couple of local companies who are coming out to quote.

How much should I expect to pay for the door plus fitting? I've absolutely no idea so even a ballpark figure would help.

I’m having one fitted in a couple of weeks for £900 by a small local company. I had quotes off a couple of the bigger companies and they were coming in at £1300 ish.

Large chains quoted £3k for door and glass panel fitted, smaller independent we paid just over half that.

We had one fitted a couple of years ago and from memory it was around £1,300. Local firm who my parents have used several times.

We've got the door, a glass panel above, two vertical panels in the top half of the door, plus we had a colour instead of white.

I paid £1300 several years ago. However I had decent door furniture and glass too. Beware really cheap doors. They fade.

Thank you. So I need quotes to come in around £1000 give or take. Just need to choose one now!

IIRC I paid around £950 several years ago, but that included all the bits and pieces, glass fanlight at the top, number, letterbox, peephole and chain, etc. plus the fitting, which was quick and left no mess at all.
Still looks like new, neighbours have installed an almost identical one.
For security it was a door with bolts that shoot out when you lock.

We paid over £1000 a few years ago, but we had glass panels to the sides too. Ours is white but has weathered well.

We have been quoted £2000 for a Solidor door! 😳
