This is a bit random, but doesn't anyone know what colour the lovely hallway is painted? I think it would be perfect for our hall!

This is the advert:

I put this in home decoration too - but I'm impatient for a reply GrinBlush

First time I saw the ad I thought the old guy had carked it at first..

SwedishEdith · 29/01/2020 20:43

Oh, I love this advert. Poor, long-suffering Graham. F&B Stone Blue?

FagAsh · 29/01/2020 20:45

I hate it, we always assume they’ve all died

caffeinefix · 29/01/2020 20:49

I thought he'd died too! Awful advert.

ShootTheRunner · 29/01/2020 20:50

Wickes rockpool maybe? I wanted it in my bedroom but it wasn't quite right, lovely colour though.

Ffsnosexallowed · 29/01/2020 20:51

When it comes on its a running joke in our house to say how upsetting it is cause he's dead now.

Fedupwithmyhouse · 29/01/2020 20:51

No he hasn’t died!! I worried about him at first too then realised they’ve moved to a different house more suitable for their twilight years. A happy ending indeed.

Reallybadidea · 29/01/2020 20:53

Omfg that advert is literally my mum and dad, name and everything Grin

Fedupwithmyhouse · 29/01/2020 20:53

Look! Perfect for Graham and his needy wife.

Didn't they add the happy ending on later because so many people complained it was upsetting. Pretty sure they originally implied the old couple were gone for good. Or the long-suffering Graham had morphed into a baby going up the stairs...

The dulux heritage sky blue (which is not sky blue in colour) looks a lot like that. It's hard to tell because lighting affects paint colour so much though.

Sadsammy · 30/01/2020 09:37

Dulux Mineral Mist?

Spaghettio · 30/01/2020 10:43

I must admit, I prefer the version with the nice ending. No one wants to see a sad advert!

Thanks for the ideas - I'll check them out.
