Shorter king bed

Hi all,
I'd like a bed big enough for me, a D.C. and DH, but Due to not having the space I can't get a full king bed. I need a bed as wide as a king but shorter. I had a look online and there are non standard made to measure beds but they are quite expensive. Has anyone bought one and if so how much did you buy it for? My max budget would be £700 including mattress

The room is 14ft by 12ft.

I have 30cm between the wardrobe and the current double bed. Any longer and I won't be able to walk around the bed.

Do you have room for a wider bed? You could just turn the bed edgeways.

A pair of ‘small single’ mattresses with a zip and link will give you king size width (150cm) but with only 190cm length.

Is it a framed bed or a divan?

How deep are your wardrobes? We have a king size bed in a 12x9.5 room, plus wardrobes.
