How do you find smaller rural property?

So there are websites for big rural properties, equestrian or whatever. But is there any quicker way to look for small to average size rural properties over quite a wide area, without also having to trawl through hundreds of houses in suburbs and small to medium towns on Rightmove?

You can set search map areas on Rightmove that I’ve found useful. So you can just shy around the town you want to avoid. Don’t know of anything else...

Yeah, if you are looking over most of a county that is not an easy map to draw. Or you do lots of faffy small maps which overlap slightly and get more than one alert for some areas.

Place marking as I'm finding it difficult as well.

Have you tried looking for small holdings instead?

Well (if using say Rightmove) I think if you set your filter to detached houses only you’ll eliminate a lot of suburbia, not all of course.

Then just move the map and search again? Can’t take that long to scan a county...

I've found PrimeLocation app good for this, as you can put in keywords such as rural in the search
