Useless Rightmove adverts

So, what's at the top of your priority list when trawling house adverts? Good twiggage in the shower? Or lovely table in the show home?

What do you mean you expect the number of bedrooms in the listing to match the number on the floorplan?

(Sorry for rubbish link!)

Sorry, even crappier link, but at least this one works...

I suppose the study is bedroom three but could be labelled study / bed 3 to make It clearer.

Yes the arrangement in the shower is odd but I’ve seen worse.

I’d love to be able to search for room size but you can’t seem to do that. When an EA describes an 8ft room as a double it really annoys me, so you may be able to fit a small double in there but nothing else like a wardrobe etc. This advert doesn’t seem to give room sizes at all.

I was really laughing at the fact that the developer has gone to the effort of making a show home (the houses are in my village, I've been along for a nosy), but the advert has chosen twigs and tables as pictures.
Rather than kitchens, bathrooms, living room, the aforementioned study/third bedroom, the second bedroom. The only useful pictures are the bedroom shot and the site plan!

I like the crap in the shower enclosure picture. Really shows the home off.

Shurl · 12/01/2020 10:19

Exactly @caporesarnie!

But also when did crap in showers become a thing?! Is it to make the shower look big? Or to stop people standing in there to check out size?

Is it a thing? I'm more of a Rightmove lurker these days (bought and sold last year but always good for a nosey), but it just looks like clutter. Perhaps like you say stops people going in there during viewings, not sure if would have stopped the DC tbh!

It looks like someone's killed that plant and they are giving it a good soak in the shower in the hope it can be revived.

That photographer should be sacked! One photo of each room please. One of the front. One of the garden.

Seriously how difficult is that??

CharmingB · 13/01/2020 13:53

It looks like that mirror's wearing Pat Butcher earnings! Grin

I'm not certain the shower's deliberate - moved stuff to take pictures and forgot to move it out again?! I mean... that's too crazy to be deliberate, surely??

I personally love a good picture of a shiny hob top or mirror.

Followed by farm down the road.

All of these definitely help when it comes to seeing where I could picture my furniture 🙄
