DH and I are in the process of renting a new home. Our agent has outsourced their referencing to UK Tenant Data, a company based in Preston. I was just wondering if anyone else has had dealings with them and if so, what their experiences were? I'm concerned mainly about data security, as I've had a couple of surprising emails (ie from a dating site specific to my age and gender) since I gave them basically my life story earlier today.. Any advice appreciated.
