How much to fit a kitchen

Hi - how much does it cost to fit a Howdens kitchen, units are made (so not flat packed) - it's a large L shape around 5x4.5m plus island, top cupboards (three doubles)

First fix gas and electrics in

No wobbly walls just flat walls with the one corner (ie the L shape right angle

Thanks in advance

I was once told by a builder he charges £250 a cabinet! I thought that was a bit steep but there you go. It's his 'go to, quick idea how much' price. Didn't wait to find out his detailed price. Instead we got an electrician in for 2 days (£500) plumber in for one (£200) and handy man for four days (£800) so about £1500 instead .

Average area I'd say! Although it's quite a big house, so he might have been pushing it a bit ?

my son in law is doing our fitting and he would normally charge £1200 for the 12 units we are having put in so £100 a unit our will be made up not flat packed, hes doing ours a bit cheaper cos its family

Great @isseywith4vampirecats - even with the vampire cats at home 🤪😉

I’m having a new kitchen, not huge but my best quote has been £2500 for fitting Shock

Seeing if I can convince my dad to do it because I really don’t want to pay almost the cost of the kitchen again!

my username was for Halloween and I sort of like it so kept it my four cats are just moggies lol, I don't know if fitting prices are different for areas we live in Yorkshire I should imagine London and south would be more expensive, the quote we got from wickes for fitting flat pack units from them was £2500

I'm looking into this too. Have you asked local Facebook page people got recommended fitters?
