I am thinking of replacing my electric hob with an induction hob (my building does not allow gas) but I already have a number of appliances that drive me mad with the beeping
. The induction hob I liked the look of was the Neff N70 60cm Flex Induction Hob T56FT60X0 as it has a magnetic "Twistpad" removable dial and flex-induction zones. However, having watched a YouTube video of it, it beeps to turn on/off, to turn temperature up/down, to use any other setting. I don't know if it beeps if you put something on it but i'm guessing it does and that would not work as I have very little counter space so need to be able to use it as a resting spot too. I have read some people solve the space issue with a trivet on it so they can put things down on it but I think that is hassle and have no where to put the trivet when i'm actually cooking.
I am fine with a beep for on/off but really don't want any other other beeping and need to be able to put stuff on it when not in use. Does anyone have a recommendations for specific models (as they all seem work slightly differently with the beeping) and strangely enough proneness to beeping is not listed under the specifications!
Thanks All
