Hive heating

Hi, I've just bought a new house and it doesn't have Hive. My old one did and if you have it you know how much I'm missing it! Anyway... on the website it says it's not compatible with the Honeywell SmartFit control (whatever that is) and I think I may have that... but I don't know if this little box thing is that as I've googled and it doesn't look the same, but I don't know. I have asked Hive and they were next to useless, so this is my next step. Can anyone shed any light please?

You need to speak to a plumber/heating engineer. The existing programmer will likely need removing and replacing with the Hive system. Should work fine.

That's not a Honeywell smartfit unit, the smartfit units are not wireless like yours.

@Isitabirdisitaplane there is also a little unit on the wall next to the boiler? It has three buttons and a green light on it. I think I'll just call a heating guy round and see what they say.

The little box by the boiler is the wireless reciver, your thermostat will have two AA batteries inside it at the bottom led horizontally. I'd guess you have a cmt727.
Ps 20 years being a heating guy.

@Isitabirdisitaplane it does! Thanks for the help!
