Dishwasher error code - help/advice

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has any advice. We moved into a house with an integrated Bosch dishwasher. It was at least a 5+ years old and we’ve had it for a year with intermittent use
It’s showing an error code of E09

My research indicates it’s a heating element issue so has anyone had an error like this?
Is it worth a repair job or a buy a new dishwasher?
I need it more now with all the toddler plates!

I would say that a reasonable time for a dishwasher to last is approx 10 years. It could be approaching this age already. We have had Bosch dishwashers and not seen this fault. Sounds potentially expensive to repair/not worth it to me.
This time of year there are sales on for large electrical appliances so would be a good time to buy a replacement in my opinion.

If you are buying a new one, swallow hard, take the pain and buy a Miele.

Our Miele washing machine is 20 years old this year, ditto the tumble drier.
