Crittal, french, bifolds

Which doors? In our previous house we had bifolds but I wasn’t keen on the big expanse of glass. Although my husband liked it. I quite like the idea of french doors with side glass panels but not sure it would be big enough. We have a south west facing rear. Any ideas or photos of what you have would be appreciated. We are in the planning stages with are architect at the moment.

We decided against French door although I like them as classy etc. Decided on large opening sliders (3 covering 5 metres ). Limitation is less wall space although was ok for us and you need to be careful about sun and furniture as you don't want the blinds shut all day. However, we love them and even on a cool summers evening we often sit there with them open and love the feel

I work in DP window company, bi folds are popular but we chose French doors for our own home as they are a lot less hassle, you could have side lights on French doors if the opening is wide enough. There are some doors I’ve seen that are a cross between a French door and bifold but my minds a complete blank of the brand name at the moment, I’ve seen supplier videos of them and they look very good
