Window shutter question

Happy new year all!

We are moving house next week and we want to have shutters on the bay window at the front. The windows that are in there at the moment will probably need replacing at some point in the next few years. Should we get the windows done first (bearing in mind this would eat up all our budget) or can the shutters be fitted then removed and refitted when the windows are changed in the future?

Thanks Smile

We had a similar dilemma and fitted shutters, they can be removed and refitted.

Bear in mind if windows are awful that you consider what the shutters are made from so they don’t get damaged by damp or condensation for example. Our kitchen ones aren’t wood to allow for this but look like the wood ones if that makes sense..
