As above, we have at the moment, dark blue at the bottom, light blue on top with dado rail. It was only done this year, wrecked, looks awful, chips and scratches. What colours are yours please? Any paint kid proof. Idea's much appreciated. Thank you

Maybe you could just a few touch ups?

I use Dulux washable paint but I guess they are all the same. No grease marks and it can been scrubbed without the paint being damaged or coming away. Previously I used to reprint the lower half a few times a year. One quick coat with the roller just to freshen It up.

We have had all three and survived with plain emulsion! Just make sure you can wash it down and teach your DC to respect your house! No child has to knock 7 bells out of a property!

Assuming children are young then I would get a spare tin of below dado rail colour , a mini roller and tray & just touch it up every so often. emulsion takes about 30 mins to dry . There are some ( and some lovely poster will help here ) apparently some things you can buy where you can rub off marks from walls ( sorry I haven'y googled it for you but will look them up as we have v small house and walls get marks on them) Chips are a different thing so maybe just see what is going up & down stairs which could cause that
