Cobham Blue DIY Kitchen

Has anyone had a Cobham Blue DIY kitchen? I would love to hear any feedback and see pictures if possible... I couldn't see any customer photos of this colour on their website so wasn't sure if this was just a fairly new colour or if it has not proved popular? I'm considering this in the Norton or Linwood... The colour on the sample door seems very dark so its tricky to discern the blue in certain lights - would be great to hear how people have felt about it when installed. My space is a fairly bright but smallish kitchen...

Have literally just ordered my kitchen - half in Cobham blue, half in Dove grey in Helmsley. It's a new colour. I think because loads of people were doing some form of navy as a custom colour.

LadyGoneGaga - Thank you for the info about being a new colour, sorry for the long delay in responding!

Bumping this as I'm too considering the cobham blue Norton as an option for my new kitchen. Would be keen to hear thoughts, see photos etc.

We've just ordered the Linwood in Cobham Blue. From the samples we've had, it's fairly similar, but not identical to, Farrow and Ball Hague Blue. If you go onto DIY kitchens website there's a real kitchens page that lets you look at customers kitchens. You can filter them by colour etc, and there a few Cobham Blue ones on there now.

@Beano78 Do you know what the difference between the Linwood and the Norton is?

Beano78 · 30/05/2020 19:24

@Smallgoon The Linwood has grooves in it (you can see where the pieces of wood join) and the Norton doesn't. I thought I would prefer the Norton as it's plainer, but found the frames very chunky. The Linwood just looked more balanced to me. The Linwood is also a bit cheaper. If you look at the DIY kitchens website there are loads of customer photos where you can see examples of each style.

We recently had DIY kitchens in farrow and ball cooks blue. It was a bit more for bespoke paint but it looks bloody good. They can colour match any colour.

I do like Cobham blue but we wanted it a little lighter.

The kitchen itself is superb quality.
