Help! Oil based mark on lovely waxed table

Please help :( We have a beautiful custom restored table in a dark silver grey distressed wax finish, bought with inheritance money. We've looked after it so carefully for many years....but last night a lady came over to do home massage treatments and seems to have splashed massage oil on it :(

I contacted the person we originally bought the table on, who advised treating the stain with mayonnaise. This did sound odd to me as mayo is oil based too, but I figured she's a furniture expert so tried it. Now theres an even bigger oil stain on the wax finish :( Absolutely gutted, is there anything can be done? It's not a standard wax colour so cant just sand and re-wax and sending back to the seller isnt really an option as she lives very far away - it cost a small fortune to courier the table to us when we first purchased it.

Any tips for removing oil stains from custom colour wax finish wood furniture hugely appreciated.

I have no knowledge what so ever, I would get in a French polisher.
It sounds like their sort of thing

Had never even heard of a French Polisher but, having looked it up, that sounds perfect.
