I’ve got a flat to sell and have held off putting it up for sale as I can’t see anything I want to buy. Hoping it starts to move after Christmas, or should I wait until the spring bounce?

I’d stick it up and wait and see! It only takes one person to like it.

I’m more concerned that I won’t have anywhere to move to. Hardly anything is coming on the market.

Problem there now is that prices have got to the ceiling of what first time buyers can afford, so if they can't get onto the ladder then no one else can move up it and eventually it will come to a stale mate.

I think that stalemate has been happening already. There doesn’t seem much point trying to sell mine when I can’t see anything I want to buy.
