Attaching IKEA furniture to wall in new build

Anyone got experience of securing ikea drawers etc to walls in a new build?
I’m worried as our walls are so ridiculously thin that it won’t be possible . But surely people must do it?

You need to find the studs (solid wood that holds the wall up). I don’t have much experience of how you do that though!

You need to buy a stud detector. Then you just slide it over the wall and it detects the studs through the plaster. Then secure furniture to the stud as PeachPotato said.

Use hollow wall anchors - they spread out behind the wall once inserted to fix the screw in place.
