IKEA assembly - have you used any services to do this?

HI, I am looking to get some furniture assembled - has anyone used a company they like and would recommend? We're in SW London

I used the people ikea use. Booked it through the website when I bought it. Was a complex piece so needed someone who knew what they were doing. He was great.

Task Rabbit is great for this. You can read reviews of the people doing it in advance and see how many jobs they have completed.

I also use the IKEA service and it is great. I refuse to ever put flatpack furniture together again!

Yep, our local Ikea use task rabbit and he was amazing - like a machine and the wardrobe was assembled in about 30 minutes and securely fixed to the wall. I think it was £25. If dh and I had tried it would have taken all day and a near divorce I'm sure!

We paid for IKEA service for our Pax wardrobe as we needed it assembled the same day it arrived. If we had a few more pieces to have got done together I would have posted on our local Facebook page as a few handyman are always advertising. The guy from IKEA was super quick as he did it day in, out

I found someone on AirTasker for mine after failing to do it myself! You agree a price in advance, the money is taken from your account and held by the app, and when you've both clicked that the task is completed, the money is released to the 'tasker'.

I used the Ikea services years ago. They were brilliant!
