Condensation in loft

I've recently discovered condensation in the loft, only been in the house since January so haven't done a full winter yet.
It's partially boarded, there are ventilation bricks in there and there is insulation up there.
We arranged for the partial boarding so not sure if that's upset the flow of air.
Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?

Are there any obvious routes for damp air though from the rooms beneat, especially the bathroom (eg holes in ceiling for downlighters etc). If you can keep warm damp air from the house out of the cold area in the roof above the insulation, that might help. Make sure you aer using extracts, oping windows after showers etc so the 'house' air is not too damp.

If it has only shown up recently it might be mainly down to the weather - on cold clear nights like we have had lately, roofs spaces can get incredibly cold, which means condensation will form more easily than normal, but will disperse when the weather warms up. Either way, it is worth keeping an eye on!

The above is correct, but I'd suspect the main cause is the extremely damp cold (misty) weather we've recently had.

It's commonly known as 'condensation season' as there is a lot of moisture in the air and the cold temperatures mean the water condenses very easily.

Make sure the roof is sufficiently vented and check the top of the rafters for signs of prolonged dampness, rot or wood boring insect. If you don't find any of the above it's likely just climactic and will disappear soon.

check any ducting travelling upwards from the bathroom or kitchen disconnected from the roof or ceiling.
making all the condensation extracted to stay in the loft.
