My bloody fridge door fell off

How do I put it back on?

It's integrated so it just sort of slid out of the outer door when I opened it.

No obvious screws fell out but there must have been something keeping the fridge door attached to the fridge unit.

Can I just buy a new screw/bolt and put it back together?

In the second pic you have little pins top and bottom. That’s what the door sits on/ in. You just need to slot it back on - you may have possibly lost one of the pins so have a scout around (May still be in fridge door)

MyFoofIsAloof · 03/12/2019 10:41

Thanks @reetgood the pin is in place at the top but not the bottom. I can't find it anywhere so I need to get a replacement. Any idea where I can get one?

@myfoofisaloof (excellent username) I think so! Not an expert but have had fridge door come off before. In my case I was able to find the pin hinge. That looks like the right kind of thing though, check it’s compatible with your model. If fridge is still under warranty you could see if they will replace. Can you prop the door on for now?

MyFoofIsAloof · 03/12/2019 11:04

Thanks again @reetgood (are you a Viz fan?).

The fridge was here when I moved so no idea of the model and it'll definitely be out of warranty but I've found a seller on eBay that accepts returns so I'm going for it!

if all else fails, look for the makers name and email them.

I notice on Bosch and Siemens models there is often a label inside the cabinet.
