Anyone wanting to buy a new house?

We are in love with a new house but can’t put a deposit down until our house sells, we’ve been on the market and one by one the house style we like on the development have been selling, now there are only two left. I’m getting very grumpy about it :(
Anyone else in the same position?

Can you part exchange it? I know you might not get the best offer, but if it means you can afford your new place...

@majoady no, we are downsizing slightly. They’ll only do that if our property was worth less than the new one.

I’m looking to buy and can’t find anything!

Wouldn't buy a new build if they paid me. Sorry. If its on a large estate it'll have shortcuts and cost saving measures throughout which I would notice and forever be unhappy with.

Karcheer · 27/11/2019 11:49

@stevefromdonny there are 19 houses in total, not a large estate.

Keep positive is all I can say. We were in the same position as you and all the houses I liked were being reserved on the development we wanted to move to (also only 19 houses). Anyway short story is that when we finally sold I went grumpily to look at a plot there which I didn't like but ended up falling in love the second i arrived. We move there in 2 weeks so keep your chin up as you never know what's around the corner.
