I’d use it but replace as soon as convenient and in the mean time cover it with electrical tape or similar

Grumpyunleashed · 24/11/2019 17:04

Bin it now. Don’t fuck with electricity.
Whole plug could be cracked.

GoldenFlaps · 24/11/2019 17:12

I wouldn't risk it.

cloughie100 · 24/11/2019 17:17

Thank you - will not use

Yes its dangerous. Dont use it at all. If you are desperate can you just swap the plug with one from an unused lamp or something?

Howzaboutye · 24/11/2019 17:19

No. Definitely not. Bin.

Doesn't appear to have shrouded line and neutral pins either which is a big no no now. This has been a requirement for about 30 years.

Definitely not. Our neighbour i spotted they had one the same and offered to remove it carefully from the socket. They were blaming each other for hitting it with the vacuum cleaner but As i pulled it out the whole thing just crumbled apart!
