Knocking through a supporting wall

We have decided to knock through our lounge into the dining room. It’s a supporting wall so will need an rsj. If you’ve done this before could you give me an idea on cost, mess, time please, thanks!

It cost us 2k, excluding plastering which would probably be another £500. You'll also need to get it building control certified which will cost money for fees and also another £300+ for structural calculations.
