ADT alarm

Hello

We are having an alarm system fitted next week. Had someone round to discuss sensors etc. But I'm worrying now about coming in and not having enough time to disable it! We have dogs who do a chaotic meet and and greet. I've seen online you can get key fobs for them. Is this standard for all the alarm systems? This sounds like it would be much easier!

They come with 4 keyfobs usually, however they are the type that you hold against the control panel rather than ones with buttons to click.

Depending on the system you're buying, the button fob will either come as standard for one of the more premium alarms or I'm sure you'll be able to purchase separately and program it to the system.

Not sure about ADT, but for our alarm be have a separate small reader next to the front door that we can touch a tag ( no buttons on it) to set and unset the alarm. We also have a remote but don’t use it ( keep it indoors to use as a panic button) and can set and unset on an app on our phones when away from the house.
