Applied through a broker , when should I hear back from the lender to know if we are accepted or not?

Have you already got an agreement in principle?

Ours took about 5 days from applying to be agreed subject to valuation and then it was probably another couple of weeks for them to value it and make a formal offer.

Depends on your specific circumstances and the lender you've applied to.

Our purchase that fell through a couple of months ago, we had the valuation done and mortgage offer through in around 7 working days from submitting application.

We have just submitted an application through a different lender that we are expecting to take atleast 3-4 weeks if no queries or documents are asked for.

Ours took nearly a month, we both work full time and aren’t bottoming v much compared to the value of the house. They were incredibly picky. And DH banks with them.
