Home Water Softner

Any recommendations where I could purchase home water softner.Any particular brands that it worth buying and avoiding. Budget less than £500.

We're installing a BWT ws355 but they do do a 355 which is under £500. Apparently you can install these yourself if you are a confident DIYer but we are having a plumber put ours in.
