Hi mums, I just need an advice regarding the area and school. We are moving to deepcut (Surrey) within few month. We are a family of 3 me my husband and our 12 years old daughter who will join secondary school there and will go in year 8. Can you guys please give me some advices/suggestion regarding the area and schools. Is deepcut a nice and safe area? what are the best other areas nearby and which secondary schools are the best in deepcut? Please suggest some good schools even if its far as i drive and have no issue to drop her. I would really appreciate your help. Thanks

Hi @dee0123, we're just bumping your thread and hopefully someone will be along very soon with some advice.

Best of luck. Smile

I've never heard of Deepcut. What is the nearest large town?

Camberly for the nearest school I should think?

I think Tomlinscote in Frimley is nearby and is very well regarded ( and thus very popular)

Deepcut is relatively quiet. Not a lot goes on. It is safe.

Although I can’t offer any direct advice I live just a few miles away in Farnborough/Fleet. The area in is generally quite safe I’d say. There are lots of army bases here and you’ll quite often see them training when you venture into the countryside which sort of feels reassuring. Lots of the land is mod owned and it’s open to the public for recreational use. It’s quite beautiful too much of it.
