How much to fit recessed lights?

Hello, does anyone have any idea how much it would be to fit 6 recessed lights in a living room, ground floor with carpeted bedroom above. Currently a single central light fixture. Does the ceiling need patching afterwards? How much does that bit cost? Is it obvious I’m clueless?!

I just paid £65 per light. And the ceiling does need patching up but nothing a bit of sandpaper and paint won’t fix.

Oh great I can do sandpaper and paint just worried it might need proper patching. Thank you!
