Installing a hemnes bathroom cabinet

Has anyone done this? I have to do it on my own today and it looks quite hard!

Yes, that’s the one we’ve got! I’ll be honest, DH did it, but I definitely didn’t help him

I don’t think you could as they are huge. We’ve only got the one door one and it’s big. They are really tall. You will be able to build it on your own but not attach it to,the wall.

We left a shelf out of ours to fit tall bottles in. You can fit loads of stuff in.

The only thing that’s usually tricky to do on your own is the bigger items as they’re so heavy to manoeuvre around (I still have the scar from when i dropped daybed on foot trying to lift it on my own).

Oh god yes sorry. Attaching it to the wall would be beyond me.

You can make it on your own but you will need someone to help you put it on the wall as its quite heavy.

Agree you will easily be able to build it, but it needs two people to hang.

@egg was it the hemnes daybed? I built that myself in a tiny box room in our last house... nightmare 😱

Also props to the person who built a hemnes daybed on their own. I delegated it to my DH, we watched a video of it together and then he phoned a professional flat packer who came and did it for us. (Correct answer)

Yes the Hemnes day bed. I still have a scar on my foot two years later. Love the bed though!
