That is WEIRD. The only thing I can think is that the previous owners had a lot of art pieces which lit up...and which were expensive/permanent/designed for the space and so they considered them enough of an investment to fit all those sockets!

It's weird that there are like...three together though. Definitely odd.

Obviously gamers. Lots of tvs on the walls then probably also sky, dvd, computers, apple etc. All need sockets.

You can never have too many sockets.

GinZinger · 04/11/2019 00:15

Skiing, did you look just how many they had? ConfusedGrin
That's bonkers and would put me off buying. They're so unsightly!

donquixotedelamancha · 04/11/2019 00:15

I was going to say you can't have too many sockets. Apparently I was wrong.

Theres another thread about this and apparent the house used to be a business/offices. Although why the developers lef all.the sockets in place when they did the conversion is beyond me

There aren't enough in the kitchen.

The ceilings have those horrid little torches poking through.

It would look better with white plastic accessories

The rows of sockets along the walls are not as bad as the mass of connectors at the (probably) TV points which could have been done differently.

If the owners wanted a less permanent installation, they could have used dado trunking which is easier to add, remove and alter, and is favoured in offices, workrooms and hospitals. Or floor boxes which can be unobtrusive.

Aaaaaahhh. This also explains why the inside of the building is quite nice while the back garden has been completely ignored.

It's also listed for rent and is furnished in the pictures - www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-51466233.html - still looks mad though!
