We are having aluminium windows in our new extension. We live in a period property so didn't want a UPVC-style dazzling white finish - we wanted the natural colour that white paint fades to after a couple of years. Google suggests that most suppliers use 9003 (signal white), 9010 (pure white) or 9016 (traffic white) as their standard 'white' for aluminium, but this surprises me, because I bought the RAL colour fan and all of those colours are much 'stronger'/darker (tinted with yellow) than our existing (old!) painted windows.
Can anyone tell me what RAL white your windows are, and reassure me that if I picked one of those colours, I wouldn't end up with a tobacco-stained effect?!
