Hi everyone,

Doing up my house and have Egyptian cotton paint throughout. I need flooring for the hallway, kitchen, utility and dining room.

Have settled on LVT, however need opinions on the colour. I thought grey was a faddy colour so I wanted to go with a darker oak brown (think it's quite versatile) however my builder definitely prefers the grey and now he's got me questioning if I've made the right decision!

Help, opinions wanted urgently! I have attached a pic of both options and may attach a floor plan.

My kitchen is currently wooden pine cupboards which I'm intending to paint white..

beige.

Beige, is that the colour of the flooring you are suggesting PigletJohn? I think everything will look too 'washed out' with a lighter floor?

I don't like the grey one. I do like the oak one or one that's a lighter beige/grey colour.

I have Egyptian Cotton in my hallways. I would say definitely dark brown, it will warm everything up a bit. Grey would look really cold, and that particular grey would clash horribly with Egyptian Cotton (in my eyes anyway)!

Ooh happy I've made the right choice with all the opinions so far, thanks everyone!

I too think grey is a fashion colour. I would look for a medium oak colour.
