I was born at my current address. I have been living here my entire life.
I looked after my mother who was severely disabled who sadly passed away on the 13th March 2015. I now care for my father who is eighty-five. can the tenancy be changed to a joint tenancy?

If you live at the property then you should be able to inherit the tenancy if it’s a council house.

It depends on how many successions are permitted, your Ddad could have already used it up.
All local authorities differ slightly so you would need to ask your landlord.
