Garden orientation

I'm interested in the property in the photo, but wondered if I may ask for advice on the way the garden is facing? How much sun would it get in the height of summer? Would the fact it is not S/SW facing put you off? I would like some sun in the garden in the late afternoon/evening. Am I deluding myself with this property? In every other way it is perfect for us.

It's East facing so morning sun if the trees at the back don't block it. Afternoon sun at the front of the property.

personally I wouldn't as a North East facing garden is a deal breaker for me. Other peopl will feel differently though.

Probably depends on the lifestyle. If someone works full time, then it’s much better to have a SW/W facing garden to enjoy it in the evenings. If someone is around in the mornings, then E facing could be better.

The house weve recently moved into has a north east facing front garden which surprisingly gets a lot of sun, perhaps because the house is a cottage and not too high. I would try and check out the garden when it is sunny to see how it affects the garden - dont forget thecsun is higher during the summer months. You may get more sun than you think.
