Argos. Lots from very cheap to brand named ones that are more expensive.

Ikea

We have a heavy duty one from strictly beds and bunks - was a challenge to put together but we are still married and it’s very sturdy and very cheap.

Surprisingly I saw one I liked in John Lewis which was cheaper than others shops I had looked at. It's a king size ottoman bed for £550 so we are going to buy from there.

Thank you!

Anyone used hotel contract beds.co.uk?

We got ours ( king size) from Bensons for beds it was an ex display model £799 with a silent knight mattress and four years later its still like a brand new bed and very very comfortable

Ikea. I cannot stress how amazing the beds are. My whole bed (including mattress) cost about £280. It’s the comfiest bed ever. See if your local Ikea has the mattresses to try out!

I got the king sized bed for our spare room from bensons for beds, can't remember how much it cost as it was a few years ago but I know I wouldn't have spent too much on a spare bed. I ended up sleeping in it when I wasn't well and I much prefer it to our own bed, am thinking of swapping them around.
