Heating timer

I cannot adjust the CH clock nor the electric towel rail because the instructions are incomprehensible. Everyone I mention this to says they’re the same.
Why don’t the manufacturers know and make it easy? All I want is ON/OFF and a dial from cold to very hot. Programming should just be Time On/ Time Off. Why are the controls so complicated? It would also help if the same instructions were not provided with many different models.

I’ve got a Nest and it could not be more of a pleasure to use. It can do so much yet is so simple to use. Highly recommend all Nest products!

I have a Nest too! My programmer was not only complicated but was in the airing cupboard so I couldn't even see it properly! My Nest is amazing, so easy to use and I've definitely saved money on my gas bill since it was installed.

Post a photo (and the make and model if you can find i)

Timers and thermostats with a simple dial are intuitive and still available. They are very popular with the more mature homeowner.
