Car blocking garden access

I live in a terrace, front door opens onto small gated pathway and our back gate opens onto our small cul de sac and nearby garage and driveway so we use the back door and garden gate to enter/exit.

Since we've moved in our gate has been blocked occasionally so we have put signs on to say "please don't block access". Neighbours are great and leave enough room for us to get out and sons to get bikes out.

Today there is a transit van blocking the gate so I can't use it to get out, it's fine I can use the front. However my sons have their bikes and only have back door keys. I have no idea who this van belongs to.

I'm pretty sure there is no law about blocking someone's access to the garden but is there anything I can do?? Will be knocking on neighbours doors when I get back from school run if it's still there

Do the boys have their bikes with them at school and need to get into the garden?
If the van is still there, put a note on saying that you need access for bicycles and you wouldn't want their van to get scratched if they have to squeeze the bikes through.
