Folding bath screen- leaking

We had a 4 fold screen on our bath when we brought the house. It was a bit broken but we didn't replace it straight away as it still worked & didn't leak.

Fast forward 4 years & we decided to sort it out. We ordered a longer 5 fold screen & it was installed on Tuesday. The new screen leaks through a small gap above the seal & every hinge. Our bathroom fitter said it's a design defect and we don't know what to do now. Every time we shower there's a river of water on the floor next to the bath.
It does seem flimsier in general than the old screen but we assumed it would at least keep the water in!

Has anyone experienced this before & can anyone help? Thanks!

Take it back as faulty. They do tend to leak though where the seal joins the wall mount depending on usage.

The reality is they are a sub optimal solution and will always leak at some point due to the number of moving joins

Shower screens that are movable are always rubbish.
The only thing I'd say is follow the instructions meticulously about where to seal and positioning, but if it's hinges then there's nothing to seal around there anyway.
In the end we went for a fixed screen siliconed in place because i couldn't face having an awful leaky screen

Thanks both. I have got in touch with the company to say it's faulty & we'll have to get a new one. So annoying to have wasted the money buying it & getting it fitted when we have to do it again.
I was just going on the fact the old screen was the same & never leaked but this new one is awful.

The person who fitted it needs to fit it super tight to the bath. So it's hard to move but not impossible.
