Has anyone seen or have a glass dining table that extends to fit 10-12 people? Thanks in advance!

I looked at every single extending table in the world (or it felt like it) in my attempt to find one the size and shape I wanted for my kitchen recently. I didn't see any glass ones. Is there a reason it needs to be glass?
I had one made in the end...

It needs to be glass as I want it to be inconspicuous

Glass tables are weird. Cold on the arms. You can see your legs. You can see other people adjusting /itching etc etc . Gross . Had one once. Donated it to a charity within 6 months .

This sort of thing any good? www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/glivarp-extendable-table-transparent-chrome-plated-40334695/

Ah, sorry, it only seats 4-6 and I see you’re looking to seat 10-12.

Quite a few on Wayfair, sorry, can’t seem to link.

@watchmefly I will take a look at Wayfair - thank you

I think mine is called the Celeste from the great furniture trading company. Seats 6 normally and says it extends to accommodate 10. I've never had that many round it but it is huge when opened fully. Will see if I can find a pic.

@Unluckyinlove2019 thank you. This is one I had my eye on. Great to hear it will be big enough ! Do you mind if I ask what chairs you have with them?

Ah glad to hear that! It really is a beautiful table.

I have four of these chairs which fit perfectly side by side along the long sides of the table. If I'm seating 6 (which is rare) then I'll stick a couple of fold up chairs at each end without it being extended.

No way would you get 10 round the table though with the ones I've got, even when it is extended as they'd be too wide so if you're looking to seat 10 regularly then definitely go for narrower ones.

@Unluckyinlove2019 thank you. Whilst yours are beautiful I agree we would need to get narrower chairs
