Natural calico or natural hessian in grey kitchen?

I have to choose today! New kitchen is slate grey with oak worktop. Will natural hessian be too brown/ dark? Is natural calico too white/ cold? The room doesn’t get much natural light. Any experience (need to buy paint this morning!)?

I have natural calico throughout the whole house apart from the bathrooms. It's a subtle cream so not white or clinical and even though I have a different colour accent in each room (coral, apple green, duck egg blue, yellow, etc), it works with all of them.

My kitchen units are pale grey with solid oak worktops, if that helps.

If you are really not sure, though, why not delay buying the paint and just get a tester of both colours today instead?

I’ve had testers up already and narrowed it down to those 2. I need to paint the wall today before a radiator is fitted tomorrow (wall will be visible through it).

Unsure whether to post this because you say you've already narrowed it down but Almost Oyster has more warmth than those two (pinky warmth) if thats important to you, and looks great with grey. I think you want to avoid brown hues if you have slate grey so of the two on your shortlist, i would plump for Natural calico.

Floor tiles are like this so would maybe tie in a browner shade rather than a pinker one... I think??? Or not?

Natural Hessian is much warmer than Natural Calico. If you want a grey look then go for the Calico.

Calico. We have this everywhere apart from kitchen it is much warmer and less grey.

We have natural calico in our kitchen and throughout the house - it seems to absorb the other colours in each room. We have wood worktops and peninsula and our cupboards doors are nat calico too, we've used some bold reds and terracotta to link it all. We always gets lots get positive comments about our colour schemes. I've recommended natural calico to quite a few friends - and they've been pleased with the results

I've just had my house painted natural calico. Is much creamier than I expected. Despite trying the tester pots. It looks great though.
