Replacement under kitchen cabinet light fitting

I have got several fluorescent strips under my kitchen cupboards that I would like to replace. They are wired in to a lightswitch. I have found the current lights on eBay. The electrical connection looks like the photo attached.

Does anyone know if this sort of fitting is outdated (kitchen 15 years old).

I wondered if I could just buy new lights myself and put them up/plug them in but I cant see the type of connector anywhere and don't know what to search for.

What about retrofitting led tube lights to them? I'd take one of the tubes to an electrical wholesaler and see if they've got anything suitable.

I can buy LEDs tubes online but would rather replace them with lights that aren’t as long as there is far too much light - lots of units and lots of light.
