Hello, I'm new to Mumsnet but thought it would be a good place to get some advice from other mums already living in Stratford.
Basically we have always loved the town and it's where we gravitate to at the weekends with the kids or on date nights. We currently only live 25 minutes away and are now thinking of actually moving there when we put the house on the market in the spring.
Ideally we want to be in walking distance of the facilities but aren't familiar with the residential areas so I'd really appreciate some advice on the best areas for families, schools etc. As property prices are quite high I'm aware we may have to sacrifice certain thing like a big garden if we are in the town etc. but would really like to know where exactly to look for a nice family home with a good local school.
