Birch ply formica worktop?

Has anyone got a Birch ply formica worktop?

I will be renovating my house so lots to spend on windows, plumbing, plastering etc. I don't think I want to spend 3k on granite/quartz worktops and I hate bog standard laminate. I like the look of wood but don't want the maintenance.
I have fallen in love with a retro looking pale blue Formica/birch ply worktop. The Formica is available in many different colours and is bonded onto Birch ply. I would also like an undermount Belfast sink.
Anyone got a worktop like this and is it ok near the sink?

Not got one but please check it’s bonded to marine ply...there will be water ingress almost certainly (even away from the sink area) and normal ply will simply drink up water and swell

order a sample
the edges are raw and unsanded and not treated

p.s - i had a sample and would defo not put with a belfast
and price wise there will be not much difference once you get someone in to fit than a quartz, again i know the costing

I'd go for quartz every time! Looks so beautiful, timeless and is extremely hard wearing
