Would you approach the agent about this?

We had a buyer and it fell through (not to do with our house but buyer finances related). Since then we’ve had no new viewers or offers! The house we wanted to buy isn’t moving either. I know they are motivated to sell. Is it worth asking the agent how much they would reduce by and we would reduce our house too to try and get a sale going again? We can only afford to reduce our house if the other one is cheaper too. This is our second choice house (we already got the first choice house down to a lowest acceptable offer and that won’t be low enough if we have to reduce ours). Worth a go or do we just have to accept we are not selling!

Whats the harm in asking? they can only say no. They might have seen something else they want too.

The 2nd choice house is empty so maybe more likely?
