Please help with charges

I moved out of a new charter house 4 months ago. We cleaned it and took pictures and didn't hear anything since. I got a letter today saying they are charging us £500 for cutting the grass and hedges and removing waste. We left no waste and when we were given a list on what we could be charged for hedges and lawns were not on it. Can they charge us for this?? I'm in floods of tears I can't stop crying it seems like every month it's something new and I can't cope with it.

Don't cry: write to them enclosing a copy of the original list they sent you and referring to the invoice number and address and state there must be some mistake. Post the letter at a post office and get proof of posting.

When they have put they are charging you for removing waste they probably mean hedge and grass cuttings.
